How to get rid of grass growing in amongst plants
Tools needed: pair of surgical gloves, pair of white cotton gloves, a wide shallow tin or dish and some straight glyphosate.
Put surgical glove on one hand and then put a cotton glove over the surgical glove, pour some glyphosate into the tin, dip your glove hand into the tin and wipe off the excess in the lip of the tin, you then select the grass leaves or weed growing in amongst the plants and you draw the leaf between your thumb and fingers of your hand with the glove on it, this wipes a fine film of glyphosate onto the leaf which will kill the grass/weed and not affect the plants in around the grass/weed. It is a slow process but it is cheapest way and the safest to get rid of grass and weeds growing in your garden. Wait until the grass/weed is totally dead and then you can pull it out.
